Substitute Teachers

St. Pius X School is hiring Substitute Teachers to carry on the plans of the classroom teacher in the case of an absence.  Average class size of 19 gives the teacher a small group of students to teach during the school day.  Students in St. Pius X School are high achieving and like to be challenged in their learning.  'Specials' classes substitutes are also needed to help in Art, Band, Music, PE, and Technology.

School office assistant 

St. Pius X Catholic School is hiring for a school office assistant. 

Rooted in the mission of our parish, the School Office Assistant plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, faith-filled environment for students, families, staff, and visitors. This position supports the daily operations of the school office through bookkeeping and accounting tasks, accounts payable and receivable, ordering and inventory management, attendance tracking, and a variety of administrative responsibilities. As the heart of the school, the office supports administrators, teachers, students, staff, parents, and guests each day. Must have a flexible attitude, strong customer service skills, strong communication skills, time management and organization skills.

General food service worker

St. Pius X Catholic School is hiring a food service general worker to work on a part time basis to prepare and serve school lunch daily. This position would work anywhere within the timeframe of 8:00am-2:30pm on a Monday-Friday basis. Candidates should be comfortable working with food, have basic food safety knowledge and enjoy being around children. Preference will be given to applicants with previous food service experience. Pre-kindgergarten Classroom Associate (Sub)

St. Pius X Catholic School is always accepting applications for a part time pre-kindergarten classroom associate and substitute associate. The associate will assist with daily student activities and assist the teacher. 

PART TIME - CHILDCARE

St. Pius X Catholic School is hiring high school students (age 16+) or adults interested in a part time time work in the after school childcare program, Pius Pals.  The fully licensed, well established before and after school care program at St. Pius X provides activities, games, learning and fun for children from four years old through school age. Hours are Monday-Friday 3:00pm-5:30pm with additional hours on no school days. No weekends. Positive, fun, fast paced, Catholic school working environment. 

PART TIME - FOOD SERVICE SUBSTITUTE

St. Pius X Catholic School is hiring a food service substitute to work on an as needed basis to prepare and serve school lunch daily. This position would work anywhere within the timeframe of 8:00am-2:30pm on a Monday-Friday basis. This position is currently a substitute, as needed, on call role. 

Candidates should be comfortable working with food, have basic food safety knowledge and enjoy being around children. Preference will be given to applicants with previous food service experience. On the job, paid training, will be provided!
