First Encounter is a night of Adoration, music and witness created to give the people of St. Pius X and the greater Des Moines area a way to experience and “encounter” Christ in a new and different way. 

 Adoration is paired with live music, a speaker, time for private reflection and the opportunity to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation.  This beautiful evening gives the people of God multiple ways to grow their relationship with the Trinity.  You are invited to experience God’s love for each and every one of us on the first Friday of each month (except July) at 7:00 PM.
