If you haven’t yet heard, Saint Pius X will be hosting the relics of Blessed Carlo Acutis on Saturday, February 15 from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM followed by our normal Mass.  Blessed Carlo has gained popularity over the past few years as he is the first person of the Millennial generation to be canonized a saint.  His canonization will happen on April 27 in Rome.  We need help with the time when Catholics from across the Diocese and region will visit Saint Pius X, as well as when we have time for our community to venerate the soon-to-be Saint. You can sign up to help here.

Second—Katie Patrizio, the Director of Faith Formation for Saint Francis Parish in West Des Moines, is leading a pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi in December 2025.  One of the highlights of this pilgrimage is to visit the uncorrupt body of Blessed Carlo Acutis in Assisi.   You are welcome to sign up for this pilgrimage as well—the information can be found here.
